Housing
SCS Housing, Inc. has a variety of affordable housing units for both families and seniors. The various complexes are located throughout Cheshire and Sullivan counties. Income eligibility limits apply.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide decent, safe and affordable housing for those individuals who are income eligible under the program guidelines and who meet our Tenant Selection criteria.
We provide referrals to services in the community to help individuals and families on their journey to self-sufficiency on an as-needed basis.
We are also in business to provide a return to our investors whose commitment of funds allows us to acquire and build suitable units of housing to help meet community needs.
Applying for Housing
The first step in applying for SCS housing is to fill out an application. Once we receive your application, we will do a preliminary determination to see if you are income eligible. If you appear to be eligible, we will contact you for the next step in the acceptance process.
To apply to our Charlestown Senior, Meadow Road or Page Homestead subsidized senior apartments please fill out the following application. For our Woodcrest subsidized family apartments located in Winchester, please use this application. To apply to any of our other apartment buildings, please fill out our general application.

Our Properties
Our family and senior complexes are located in New Hampshire and are all non-smoking. Heat, hot water, snow removal, trash removal, and off-street parking are included in the rent at all properties. Applicants must be income eligible and must meet tenant selection criteria.

CitySide - Keene, NH
Located in downtown Keene at the corner of Water Street and Community Way. It is located within walking distance to the library, churches, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, Keene State College, and numerous other services and community activities. CitySide is a 24 unit, three-story building with one- and two-bedroom apartments on each floor. Each unit has an enclosed screened porch/mud room and a storage closet. Amenities include an on-site laundry room and fenced in area. CitySide is not rent assisted housing.
Keene highlands
Located in Keene on Citizens Way, off Washington Street. The complex consists of six buildings containing 40 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a laundry room in each building, a playground, and a community room. Keene Highland Housing is not rent assisted housing.
Snow Brook Meadow Village Housing - Winchester, NH
Located in Winchester at 57 Warwick Road. It is located within walking distance of a small shopping center. The complex consists of four buildings containing 20 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an on-site laundry, a playground, and a community room. Snow Brook has five units with NHHFA rent subsidies. The remaining 15 units are not rent subsidized.
Swanzey Township Housing - Swanzey, NH
Located in West Swanzey on Main Street. The complex consists of three buildings containing one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an on-site laundry, a fenced in play area, and a community room. Swanzey Township has four units with NHHFA rent subsidies. The remaining 14 units are not rent subsidized.
Woodcrest Drive Housing - Winchester, NH
Located in Winchester on Woodcrest Drive, Wedgewood Drive, and Mechanic Street. It is located in a neighborhood setting. The complex consists of 15 duplexes with 30 two- and three-bedroom apartments. Amenities include washer/dryer hookups and semi-private yards. All units have HUD rent subsidies.

Charlestown Senior Housing - Charlestown, NH
Located in Charlestown at 107 Lovers Lane. This complex is in a rural setting. Charlestown Senior has 20 one-bedroom apartments. Amenities include on-site laundry, community room, and elevator. Electricity is included in the rent. Applicants must be 62 years of age or older. All units have Section 202 rent subsidies.
Keene Eastside Senior Housing(KESSHA)- Keene, NH
Located in downtown Keene at 111 Railroad Street. It is located within walking distance to the library, churches, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, Keene State College, and numerous other services and community activities. KESSHA is a converted mill with 30 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an on-site laundry, community rooms, and elevator. Electricity is included in the rent. Applicants must be 55 years of age or older. KESSHA is not rent assisted housing.
Marlborough Homes Senior Housing - Marlborough, NH
Located in Marlborough at 23 School Street. It is located within walking distance to the Community House, a convenience store, a church, and a library. Marlborough Homes (formally Marlborough School) is a two story building with 24 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an on-site laundry, community rooms, storage areas, and an elevator. Electricity is included in the rent. Applicants must be 62 years of age or older. Marlborough Homes is not rent assisted housing.
Meadow Road Senior Housing - Newport, NH
Located in Newport at 2 Meadow Road. It is located within walking distance to downtown. Meadow Road has 25 one-bedroom apartments. Amenities include on-site laundry, a community room, and an elevator. Electricity is included in the rent. Applicants must be 62 years of age or older. All units have Section 202 rent subsidies.
Page Homestead Senior Housing - Swanzey, NH
Located in Swanzey at 185 Monadnock Highway. It is located in a country setting, ten minutes from downtown Keene. Page Homestead is a three story building with 38 one-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an on-site laundry, a community room, a library, a screened sun porch, storage areas, air conditioners, and an elevator. Electricity is included in the rent. Applicants must be 62 years of age or older. All units have Section 202 rent subsidies.
Payson Village Senior Housing - Rindge, NH
Located in Rindge on Payson Hill Road. It is located within walking distance to the Town Hall, a library, a meeting house, and the town common. Payson village is a two story building with 24 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an on-site laundry, a community room, an outside patio area, storage areas, and an elevator. Electricity is included in the rent. Applicants must be 55 years of age or older. Payson Village is not rent assisted housing.
Railroad Square Senior Housing - Keene, NH
Located at 49 Community Way, off Water Street, in Keene. It is located within walking distance of the library, churches, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, Keene State college, and numerous other services and community activities. Railroad Square Senior is a three story building with 24 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include on-site laundry, a community room, an outside patio area, storage area, and an elevator. Troy Senior Housing - Troy, NH
Located in Troy at 13-15 Water Street. It is located in the center of town within walking distance to a church, library, hardware store, post office, and the town offices. Troy Senior is a two story building with 15 one- and two- bedroom apartments. Amenities include an on-site laundry, community room, and a porch. Electricity is included in the rent. Applicants must be 55 years of age or older. Troy Senior is not rent assisted housing.

Located in Winchester at 68 Warwick Road. It is located within walking distance to a small shopping center. Warwick Meadow is a two story building with 20 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Located in Winchester at 52 Warwick Road. It is located within walking distance to a small shopping center. Winchester Senior is a one story building with 20 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include an on-site laundry, a community room, screened in veranda, and storage areas. Electricity is included in the rent. Applicants must be 55 years of age or older. Winchester Senior is not rent assisted housing.
