WIC Nutritionist
Who We're Looking For...
SCS is looking for a WIC Nutritionist to join our team in the Keene area. This is one of those roles where you truly see the impact of your work – supporting families, helping kids grow healthy, and building relationships in the community.
The WIC Nutritionist provides nutrition education and assessment to all WIC participants. The WIC Nutritionist ensures availability and accessibility of WIC program benefits to current and prospective participants. The WIC Nutritionist develops nutrition education and outreach materials for use by the WIC Program. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science or related field including Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, or Home Economics with specialization in Nutrition from an accredited college or university; Dietetic Technician with a minimum of an Associate’s degree from an American Dietetic Association approved Dietetic Technician program and eligible for registration (DTR); Physician or Nurse Practitioner (MC, NP, DO); Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (RN, LPN); Physician Assistant (PA, certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants or certified by a State medical certifying authority); and other health professionals whose education and experience have been individually approved by the State Agency. New grads are absolutely welcome!
