Part Time Teacher Assistant
Who We're Looking For...
SCS Head Start is looking to fill the several Part-Time Teacher Assistant positions in our Ashuelot, Claremont, Jaffrey, Keene, Newport and Swanzey classrooms.
These positions are part time 29.5 hour a week and follow the Head Start school calendar with a start date of August 17, 2021. Part-Time Employees receive a modified benefits package which includes, paid time off, paid holidays, paid snow days, participation in a retirement plan.
An Associate Degree in Early Childhood or closely related degree with 24 Early Childhood Credits or enrollment in an Early Childhood Degree Program is required.
SCS Head Start is looking for teachers who have positive attitudes and love working with children and families. Familiarity with NAEYC Best Practices and Head Start Standards is ideal. Southwestern Community Services Head Start requires our teaching teams to work respectfully and collaboratively with all staff in the center.
