Southwestern Community Services is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a positive, “can do” attitude to join the SCS Head Start Leadership Team. The Operation Manager is responsible for providing guidance and leadership to all staff, including management. The Operation Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of the program policies and procedures. The Operation Manager will assist the Head Start Director in overseeing the daily operation of the program; assisting in the development and implementation of the program initiatives, quality improvements, and seeking and actively pursuing supplemental funding opportunities; and developing systems for tracking data, reporting, and assisting with program-wide data collection, aggregation, and analysis. The Operation Manager is also responsible for ongoing monitoring, efficient operation, and compliance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards.
This position requires the ability to communicate professionally, and to work independently and collaboratively with others, including children, families, and staff, as well as with organizations and local partners located locally, statewide, and regionally. The ability to manage multiple projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
Desired Qualifications: A Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Service, or a related field.
