Shelter Coordinator
Southwestern Community Services, Inc. is seeking an organized, compassionate human services professional to join our Housing Stabilization team in Sullivan County, New Hampshire. This is a full-time, hourly position located on our Claremont Campus.
The Shelter Coordinator will ensure the safety of all residents by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing the rules and regulations of communal living and overseeing the general maintenance of the buildings and grounds through frequent inspections. They will develop and implement Housing First case plans based on a client’s needs which will promote long-term self-sufficiency and the reduction of housing barriers. Case plans will have a focus on arranging, coordinating, and monitoring the delivery of individualized services and assisting clients in obtaining federal, state, and local benefits. Services referrals may include mental and physical health care and substance abuse and recovery.
This position requires strong written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with area resources, and a knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Case Management experience preferred.
Starting pay: from $16.00 hourly
