Head Start Health, Safety, & Nutrition Manager

Who We're Looking For...

Head Start is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety & Nutrition Services Manager to oversee the delivery, tracking, and compliance of all health, safety, and nutrition services within the SCS Head Start Program.

In this role, you will ensure all children have a medical and dental home; families receive support, training, and access to community health and nutrition resources; and children with specialized needs have current Individual Health or Nutrition Plans. You will support program safety and nutrition excellence while ensuring full adherence to Head Start Performance Standards, USDA CACFP requirements, and NH State Child Care Licensing Rules and NAEYC Standards. You will provide health and nutrition education, coordinate dental screenings, review special diet orders, supervise center cooks, and create monthly menus. You will also oversee emergency preparedness, safety checklists, and collaborate closely with the Facilities Manager to maintain compliance in all safety-related licensing requirements.

As a member of the Head Start Management Team, you will participate in planning, staff training, and program evaluation.
