Emergency Housing Coordinator

Who We're Looking For...

Southwestern Community Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and compassionate human service professional to join our Housing Stabilization team in Cheshire County, New Hampshire. This is a full-time, hourly position.

The Emergency Housing Coordinator will ensure the safety of all residents by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing the rules and regulations of communal living and overseeing the general maintenance of the buildings and grounds through frequent inspections.  They will develop and implement Housing First case plans based on a client’s needs, promoting long-term self-sufficiency and reducing housing barriers.  Case plans will focus on arranging, coordinating, and monitoring the delivery of individualized services and assisting clients in obtaining federal, state, and local benefits.  Services referrals may include mental and physical health care, substance abuse, and recovery.

This position requires strong written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with area resources, and a knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.  Case Management experience preferred.
