This position is 29.5 hours per week, 9 months per year. A high school diploma or equivalent is needed, cooking experience required, ServSafe Certified is preferred. Must have flexibility, a positive attitude, enjoys working with children and families.

Occupancy Office Coordinator:

SCS is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized, person to join their property management team. This is a fulltime, hourly, position that performs tasks to support our Occupancy Specialists. Primary responsibilities include marketing properties, processing mail, ordering supplies, answering phones, filing, and processing applications. This position will be based primarily on site in Keene, with travel to properties in Cheshire and Sullivan Counties.

This position requires confidentiality, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines, communicate professionally, and work independently. Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office is required.

Drivers:

Southwestern Community Services is seeking energetic, customer oriented skilled drivers for public transportation driver positions in Sullivan County. This position is a safety sensitive position requiring the safe operation of a public transportation vehicle, passenger assistance, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including U.S. DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations. This is a part time hourly position.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid license and have a safe driving record. Position requires transportation of passengers throughout the communities of Charlestown, Claremont, and Newport. Successful candidates will display excellent communication and customer service skills.

Lead Teacher:

Southwestern Community Services Head Start is now seeking qualified candidates to immediately fill the Ashuelot Head Start Lead Teacher position. This full time position requires teachers who have positive attitudes and love working with children and families. Familiarity with NAEYC Best Practices, Head Start Standards, and the Head Start Early Learning Framework is ideal.

The ability to manage multiple priorities, including but not limited to, child assessment and record keeping, participation in IEP meetings, and processing reporting materials in a timely manner while maintaining the top priority of creating and implementing intentional lesson plans to manage and maintain a warm, caring educational experience for the children in the Head Start Program.

This is a full-time, hourly position, located in the Keene office with travel in Cheshire County and the Monadnock Region.
