Supportive Services for Veteran Families Coordinator :

Southwestern Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized professional to join the Housing Stabilization Services program. This is an hourly position, located in the Claremont office that reports to the Administrative & Stabilization Manager.

The Supportive Services for Veteran Families Coordinator facilitates the rapid re-housing of homeless Veteran families and works to prevent homelessness for those at imminent risk due to a housing crisis. The role of the SSVF Coordinator is to develop client driven housing stabilization plans that promote housing stability and self-sufficiency by offering a range of supportive services based on each families specific needs.

Supportive Housing Program Case Manager:

Southwestern Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized professional to join the Housing Stabilization Services program. This is an hourly position, located in the Claremont office that reports to the Administrative & Stabilization Manager.
The Supportive Housing Program Case Manager develops and monitors client driven housing stabilization plans that promote a stable housing environment and increased self-sufficiency for program participants.

This position requires attention to detail and confidentiality/impartiality, ability to multi-task, ability to communicate professionally, and ability to work independently, yet still work as a member of a team. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

Teachers’ Assistant:

Associate Degree is ECE is required. This position is full time, 35 hours per week, and follows the Head Start school year calendar.

The Teachers’ Assistant is responsible for working collaboratively with the teacher in creating a supportive and enriching learning environment for preschool children and for planning, designing, and implementing a comprehensive, developmentally-appropriate curriculum that provides hands-on learning opportunities for all children. Under the supervision of the teacher, the teacher assistant will model the appropriate interventions and interactions with children, share the responsibilities of completing the required paperwork, work collaboratively with all other SCS staff and participate in all required meetings and trainings.

Head Start is looking for teachers who have positive attitudes and love working with children and families.
