Occupancy Specialist/Property Manager:

Southwestern Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized person to join their property management department. This is a full-time, hourly position that oversees tenants’ leases associated with multiple workforce and senior housing sites. Duties include tenant eligibility and selection, ongoing tenant relations, and property oversight.

This position will be based primarily in Keene, with travel to properties in Cheshire and Sullivan Counties.

This position requires confidentiality and attention to detail, as well as the ability to meet deadlines, communicate professionally, and work independently. Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office are required. Prior housing experience in LIHTC or HUD 202 programs is desired, but we will train the best candidate.

Afternoon Dispatcher:

Southwestern Community Services is seeking a highly motivated, customer service oriented candidate to provide scheduling and overall coordination of transit services in Sullivan County to ensure the timely and safe transportation of all passengers. This position is also responsible for providing outreach and education about available transportation services to communities in Sullivan County. This is a part-time hourly position based in the transportation office in Claremont.

Key elements of this position are ensuring excellent customer service, quality of service and efficient operations. Position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, and some supervisory skills. Candidate should also have comprehensive computer, telephone and office equipment use skills. The ideal candidate will have public transit and/or demand response dispatching experience and be comfortable participating in community groups and speaking in front of an audience.

Emergency Housing Coordinator:

Southwestern Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized professional to join the Housing Stabilization Services program. This is an hourly position, located in Keene office and reports to the Director of Housing Stabilization Services.

The Emergency Housing Coordinator ensures the safety of all residents by implementing, monitoring and enforcing the rules and regulations of communal living programs and oversees the maintenance of the buildings and grounds. The main priority is providing temporary shelter services for homeless individuals and/or families, and to develop client driven housing stabilization plans that promote moving towards permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
