Second Chance Housing Coordinator:

Southwestern Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized professional to join the Housing Stabilization Services program. This is a part time position, located in Keene NH that reports to the Administrative & Stabilization Manager.

The Second Chance Housing Coordinator develops and monitors client driven housing stabilization plans that promote a stable housing environment and increased self-sufficiency for program participants. The Housing Coordinator works to ensure the safety of all Second Chance residents by enforcing the rules and regulations of communal living and overseeing the maintenance of the buildings and grounds.

This position requires attention to detail and confidentiality/impartiality, ability to multi-task, ability to communicate professionally, and ability to work independently, yet still work as a member of a team. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

WIOA Career Navigator:

Seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized and detail-oriented individual to work for WIOA under the Workforce Development Programs at Southwestern Community Services. This is a part-time 20 hours per week position located in Claremont, NH reporting to the Director of Energy and Employment Programs.

This position provides program orientation, assessment, employment counseling and other career related services to WIOA eligible customers. Effective communicator, including written, oral and public speaking needed. Must be able to handle multiple priorities at the same time while maintaining the utmost professionalism to both customers and office staff. Knowledge of career related services and labor market info is a plus. Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel & Outlook and use of case management software are required.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and 3 years of employment/case management experience with disadvantaged/dislocated adults in an employment-based context. Demonstrated experience working independently and within a collaborative team setting required.

Teachers’ Assistant:

Associate Degree is ECE is required. This position is full time, 35 hours per week, and follows the Head Start school year calendar.

The Teachers’ Assistant is responsible for working collaboratively with the teacher in creating a supportive and enriching learning environment for preschool children and for planning, designing, and implementing a comprehensive, developmentally-appropriate curriculum that provides hands-on learning opportunities for all children. Under the supervision of the teacher, the teacher assistant will model the appropriate interventions and interactions with children, share the responsibilities of completing the required paperwork, work collaboratively with all other SCS staff and participate in all required meetings and trainings.
